I used American Mechanical & Electrical to put in a new electric meter and breaker box on the outside of my business. I had already dug the 3' deep trench and had everything prepped. Jackie came out and screwed the box and meter to the wall, wired in a double outlet, and grounded it (which I assisted with AND he used my tools). The power company came out, free of charge, and hooked up the meter, buried the line, and supplied conduit. When I received the bill I had been charged for 10.5 hours of labor and $600 worth of supplies and equipment that were not itemized on the bill. Sure, he seems like a sweet old man when you're talking to him, but if for some reason you still decide to use this company, keep strong tabs on the amount of hours he is actually putting in and the work that is getting done in that amount of time.
